I talked to a friend of mine about his and he said to get the Palmer Cap-chur gun. they have a complete kit with darts and loads. He said to be sure to get the CO2 model instead of the one that uses 22 blank charges. I was thinking of getting one myself as i have the same problem. The cost is a little over $800. The mid range revolver is a little less. The advantage to the kit is you get different size darts for different dosages and some practice darts. I can't rope a post either. Also, I believe darts take different loads for different size dosages and the kit has them. he said to also grind the knob on the needle down some so the dart falls out quicker. The big problem is you really throw Beef qualaity assurance out the door as he suggests shooting in rear flank.
