I love all the farming aspects of corn and beans-marketing is definately my weak point and what I enjoy the least. To reduce stress I have pretty much gone to just making some sale every month Dec-July and taking a beating in the fall on what I was too chicken to sell.
I just get too nervous to sell too much and not be able to deliver-that has cost me a lot the last couple years. Being a new farmer (3rd year) I need the cashflow and can't hold stuff for 9 months. | |
