Subject: Re: Company outing

Fort Meade, FL
When my grandfather was alive and a salesman for Funks, every winter he would have a customer appreciation dinner at a local smorgasbord restaurant, (Wellivers in Hagerstown Indiana). And after everyone was finished eating, the wife's would go to a separate meeting room and have some sort of program for the woman while the DSM provided a program for the men as well as a sales pitch for the upcoming seed line up for the new year. I remember my grandfather saying either he had to pay half of the evening and the DSM paid the other half, or he and the DSM covered half of it and Funks paying the other half. Not sure on which scenario, but I think it was the first one, grandpa paying half and the DSM paying the other half.
