North Central Ohio, across the Corn belt !
where are you located spike. and how do you apply your fertilizer.

It is quite common in many areas to add 20 Lbs of Zinc Sulfate to the wheat dry starter blend if you are going to broadcast across the surface. ahead of or after drilling in the wheat.

If the soil analysis calls for Zinc.
100 lbs of AMS added will give you a stable N. source. and 21-22 Lbs Sulfate. wheat Loves the Ammonium form of Nitrogen. spring and fall.
