I'm not sure how much it helps late season but we used it on all our beans and cut our planting rate down from 160k to 145k. I believe almost every bean we planted came up and survived the July heat. Not sure how much credit it deserves but I'm sold especially with the early season stand in some nearly impossible planting conditions. Rented a farm that someone had taken prevent plant on last year and let the weeds grow up. Planted it two days after the burn down and it appears every bean came up and not a weed to be found. Might be the cheapest 10 bucks an acre ever spent.
