Galva, IL----- Half way between Peoria & Moline | We used to open up all the fields first, which took extra time. Then would put that corn in the corners of the cribs first. By the time we had everything opened up, the rest was ready to pick. After we got all the cribs full, on a good year, we would go back to each crib and top off after the corn had settled some. |
