| First year planting it, looked fantastic. Tall corn and I can't believe how high it placed the ear, higher than I have ever seen. Unfortunately it got hit pretty hard by hail last Monday and it was just finishing pollinating and entering blister stage. We have enough leaves to finish photosynthesis but we are worried the smut is going to get it or maybe screw up it's filling. Just a waiting game now, think the other corn planted will be quite a bit bitter as it was further along. Like what I have seen from it so far. | |
