Saronville NE | F40 and F44 is pretty good corn, have planted alot of it in the past, but planted D 52-59 on dryland this year and it looks impressive. Ive got some 0541 also it has big ears like 18-20 around and 40+ long but has a hint of pollination promblems.
On another note, UNL has been doing studies on drylant pops for several yrs and what they are finding is in there trials at 18k, 22k, 24k, 26k, that the 22k pops seem to consistently yield the best in dryland even in a dry year. I had been planting all my dryland at 18,5k but went to 22k this year and so far so good. | |
