I know this is off topic, but, your post reminds me why I hate working with horse people.  Just about EVERYTHING will kill a horse.  Can't put em on concrete, can't use stone around them, can't put more than two in one pasture, can't let em near trees, can't use high tensile fences......how the heck did horses ever survive without man???
