Subject: my tillage philosophy

Oswald No-Till Farm Cleghorn, IA
A couple guiding principles on tillage

1- Tillage is temporary as Mother nature will re-consolidate soil to some equilibrium level.

2- Tillage begets tillage. The more often and deep you till, the more you will need to perform tillage to have a "workable" soil or to level out the issues caused by prior tillage action. Want to make more deep ruts, do more deep tillage.
