I agree with that statement, but perhaps you would not have your license for long?

Again, you can do what you want when you own your aircraft, but if complaints are made, you place your permission to fly on the line with the possibility it could be suspended.

Local helicopter pilot that was a rather smart-grawlix landed in an empty lot near a local resturant.  He was not issued a ticket or given a suspension, but the local police were very understanding in warning him not to do it again or they would take action.  Again, you can land where you want, when you want, but you may not do that for too long.

The old saying, "There are old pilots, and bold pilots, but few old and bold pilots" would apply here.
