| Martin, No offence was meant. What I meant was he mold board plows in the fall, digs about 3 times, then discs twice, then plants. Then he drags it. Then we spray round up. He does no soil sampling, sprays round up, round up only. My dad also says the hotter the better for corn. He also believes that if you farm more that 300 acres, in our area, that you will end up going broke. Don't get me wrong, he has done well farming. My roundup everything comment was just what he says, doesn't use a fungicide, doesn't use an insecticide, doesnt use a resuidal. He is old school Norweigen and farms like it. | |
