Subject: phytophthora

Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
Phytophthora is the worst disease I've ever seen. It's like the bubonic plague for a plant. It will lay a vegetable field flat down in 2 days. The word "phytophthora" means "plant destroyer" in greek. It's a fitting name. It hangs in the ground a long time too. The capsici strain causes a lot of damage to US veg producers every year.
