Subject: RE: Central IL Pollination Problems-Ear Pic

Macon, IL
I scouted today, pulled this ear from a field 10 miles south of Decatur, planted April 13. Farther along and better looking that I thought-though not up to average this stuff came up and sat there in 3 weeks of cold wet weather. But it obvioulsy polinated before this heat hit.

Most stuff has been trying to polinate the last 10 days-lots of corn out there just shooting tassles.
