800 gpm will do it. I would expect that to put on .5 inch a half circle will take about 50 hours.

1200 gpm will be alot better. Electric or diesel? We have a 1200 gpm well on a pivot that irrigates a full section. Pump is at 350' The pivot rise is 100'. We have to run 90 PSI. 150 hp electric

Our pivot is a valley. We've had considerable problems blowing boots on the larger pipe that is on the first 8 towers until we double clamped them. So when they build it save yourself the headache and tell them you want longer boots and double clamps. Ours would blow less boots if they were just an inch longer. We still blow boots double clamped, but our pivot gets a considerable amount of twisting in the hills.
