Subject: Pipeline dig crop damage payment on corn

NW IA

Had the pipeline dig up an area to fix their pipe . They wanted to settle up for damages and figured the acres and want to give me 239 bu/an acre times the price of corn for this years corn. For compaction next year would be half of this years rate. Does this sound about right? Anybody have any experience in this?
