On the land value side of things. A lot of guys like to complain that land is very expensive in there area. But if they were not at the auctions bidding it up, It wouldn't be worth so much. It just proves that they don't want to farm anywhere else!
Farmers as a whole have the amazing ability to take the good profits out of any situation, crop, or area.
I don't think I would want to farm where you are at, I've heard that eastern colorado guys are the only guys on earth that can move to western kansas and think they have it easy :)
