Centre county Pennsylvania, USA | We've used Garmin 16 for both yield mapping and planting mapping. Garmin 16 performed very well in both applications. Attached picture shows a section of a Garmin 16 ground track we logged while planting oats with a 15 foot JD750. It shows the headland turns as well as parts of each 15 foot wide swath. Yield maps we've made using Garmin 16 are similar in quality to yield maps we've made using JD's Starfire iTC receiver with SF1 instead of WAAS for DGPS corrections .
