| I live 8 miles north of Avoca, but believe it or not I've never been to Farmall-Land USA (wrong color ha ha ) But I'm gonna make it there yet this summer. Imo not much else to do around Avoca. There is Botna Bend Park in Hancock , 7 miles south of Avoca, that has a few buffalo and a 20+ head elk herd you can see for $2/carload. If I were you I'd book a motel closer to DesMoines for the night and drive out from there to see Farmall-land. Hit adventureland while you're in DM. fyi, Avoca is 100 miles from Adventureland. Also there is more to see and do in Omaha which is just another 40 miles west of Avoca. | |
