nc IA | A bunch of enviromentalist types got the state to put a ban last year until July 15th on mowing roadside ditches inorder to provide more "nesting" habitat for pheasents was the excuse. You know, pheasents, those DNR owned birds that they keep raising fees for hunters to buy permits for each year.........
I can see it now someday... all farmers must leave X many acres of corn to provide "winter habitat and cover" for the deer population
Tom, I think last year was July 1st since it was the first year, but if I read it right it's supposed to be July 15th now to eternity. | |
