getting ready to knock down an old barn,barn has a couple of lightning rods on the peak. This is an old barn,built in the 1920"s ,was this the standard practice to install lightning rods? Are there regions of the country where this is standard practice? I haven't observed any rods o n any buildings built in the last 30 years in S.W.MN.
