| SAC museum at Omaha and the Smithsonian stuff in DC are great. AF Museum and Pensacola are on my bucket list. I'm going to recommend something else. Save one of those trips for cold weather. Guessing from your mapdot Geneseo, NY is under a 2 hour drive? Later this month the museum there puts on an airshow and you will actually get to see a bunch of the old warbirds fly.

Also, Geneseo is the hometown of last year's F-16 Viper West demonstration pilot. Viper West loved the show and are coming back there this year. Quick video of last year's show to give you a bit of the flavor of it.
