Subject: Sidedress before or after cultivating?

South Central, Minnesota
Going to dribble on 10GPA of 28% on knee high corn with my sprayer and there is no significant chance of rain in the forecast. Also going to cultivate within the next week. Was wondering if it would be better to sidedress the corn first then chase it with the cultivator OR is it better to break open the crust first so the nitrogen can soak into the roots faster. Going to be 80-90 degrees and sunny.
Thanks
