Subject: In desperate need of help, dead corn...

KY
Trying to type from my phone so excuse any typos. We ended up planting about 40 acres more corn than planned, so Dad Picked up more seed and put it in the ground. Apparently, he failed to realize he got ahold of conventional corn which got sprayed with Roundup at V5-V6 a week ago. There are now 40 acres of dead corn. Can't put beans on it, due to the full rate of atrazine that I put down pre. Thought about Milo, but it's got a long season too... Very successful farmer in the area says he's going to replant some that drowned out as soon as it dries he says. Should I take my chances on planting corn this late in So. KY? Can't deal with 40 acres of empty ground, nor the entire waste of inputs. Need to recoup my losses.
