NE Alberta | I had an early CP1325 (1983 model) that had the "butterfly" side opening hood like yours. I currently have an early 9180 (early 1987 model) that has the same cab (tan interior, NOT grey) and the plastic panels in front of the cab over the A/C that has a front tilting hood. The hood is not at all like the late 9180 tractors that had the one-piece hood that covered the whole front end, and has the same profile as the "butterfly" opening hood that your tractor has. From what I understand, the change was made somtime in 1985?? and the tractors built after that all had the tilting hood. Then in 1987 when the cabs went from "tan" to "grey" (along with lots of other changes), the hood design was changed to the design that all the later 91XX, 92XX, and 93XX tractors used. If I could find the info that I believe was on this site earlier with instructions on how to post photos, I could post a photo if that would help. | |
