Subject: At this point, mudding it in or planting June 10th is

not going to be much different than taking PP..................if the wet areas were rolling now or getting ready to, it might be different..............standing water, pounding rains, more to come......................IMO from a national production stand point, it doesn't matter anymore..............I feel for those that are dealing with this..............we went thru it last year...............which is probably why I can appreciate the severity of what this means...............its getting to be beyond normal repair for this year.............

one other thing to remember...............a fair amount of the planting progress that did get made in the east is getting pounded again, that does not bode well for what is in the ground..............again after last year were we had some fields had 14-16 inches of rain on them in the four weeks after planting, and 40-60 inches of rain from April thru August.................wet feet early will destroy corn yields..............we shall see.........
