| People vote with their dollars. If there was a lot of buyer's remorse then more simple equipment would be sold. I'm thinking that most of the regrets are with the second and third owners, which is a shame because it'll tend to force more land into the hands of the largest farmers. I'd like to see farmer-level food prices at a point where a single person or new family can look at farming as a good option for a career, not some money-losing go-big-or-go-broke corporate venture where the latest computerized everything is thought to be required to squeeze every cent from 10,000a blocks. |
