Macon, IL | We had about 9 acres of waterways put in under the CRP program last year. Mowing date for Il, is August 1, but contract states I have to control noxious weeds.
On about 2 acres of lower ground the grass/wheat seeded last fall didn't take as well and it is now overgrown with 4ft tall thistles, horseweeds, and ragweed.
Seems if I don't mow it and let that go to seed anymore I may be violating 1 part of contract, but violating another if I do.
