It made a Crop | Is the Waterway in CRP or did you put filter strips on CRP along the side? The waterway channel needs to be Mowed to 6".

"Mow waterways: Mature grasses trap sediment, causing the waterway to lose its shape, eventually forcing runoff to circumvent the waterway altogether. Use a mowing program to preserve a shallow bowl-shaped waterway. Allow for bird nesting by mowing before May 10 and after July 15."
