Saronville NE | Ya I like Feb calvin so you can try to be done with calving before planting is in fullswing. Have had good luck with it overall, even from yrs ago. There are quite a few around doing Feb calving even some in Jan, thats gettin a little early for me. If I couldnt start in Feb, Id pry move to fall calvin instead. My cows are pretty uch on there own, dont have much facilities for cows even though next yr we will have some up, gonna put a open fron shed and a catch pen and loading area in before next yr. Right now when you gotta get em in we run em across the yard to the catch pen in between the feedlot pens, works but could be better ways to do things LOL. | |
