Colby, Kansas | Having issues with a new 1250 planter, came with factory VRT drives. We are running the drives, and AgLeader clutches with an Integra. The ONLY thing we want the Pro600 to do is act as a basic seed flow monitor. The Pro600 shows seed flow at each row, but when flow drops off due to some problem it never trips an alarm. Local CIH dealer says the problem is that because the Pro600 is not reading back shaft speed it dosen't think its planting and thus dosen't sound any alarms.
Any ideas, is this really the problem, if so how do we remedy this. In a perfect world we would like to dumb down the 600 to just monitor only status so we didn't get error messages regarding not being able to see the drives every time it boots up.
Hopefully Torn or someone here has some ideas.
