Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
Ray, I'm not aware of any serious interest in assessing fees to cover grain indemnity fund in Pennsylvania. Not sure why that is, maybe too many mom&pop grain dealers? PA is no IA,IL or MN, farming is much much different here. Pennsylvania animal and poultry farmers outnumber grain farmer by very large ratio. That's a blessing and a problem for grain farmers here, great grain market prices, but not much protection from folks that forget to pay for grain.

Here is link to Survey of State Grain and Commodity Related Laws and Programs for all states, Draft 12/5/2002 (caution, pdf file). Notice Pennsylvania info drought in that survey.
