Central IL | Me too Dan. Sold a little last Fri. @ 8.05 fall delivery. ~ 6% of expected crop. Brings me to about 30% sold. Probably too much sold this early. But, compared to 2 years ago, these seem like GOOD prices, covers inputs and generates good profits. Will keep selling small contracts on up movements through about July to be ~50% sold.
BTW, still have about 17% old crop corn stored, be watching close for a weather scare from now thru July. $5.00???
