Subject: I normally seed

Aberdeen MS
between 80 - 120 acres of spring wheat. Just depends on the rotation. My corn/wheat acres are +/- equal to my bean acres for a 50/50 split legume to grass type plant.

Just the way the rotation worked this year, 115 acres going in.... hopefully. I draw the line at early first week of May to get it in the ground. Not quite so concerned this year with spring moon being late. Still have snow in my yard where I blew it this winter and banks are still 3'+ tall on the edge of the grove.

The ground is "getting" there, but a ways to go yet. 25 miles south of me, some wheat is in the ground already. 8 miles north of me, lots of water still standing. I don't have my seed home yet, it's just been since Sat that one can "work" outside comfortably to start getting things ready to roll.

Made the first new crop sale on it yesterday, basis narrowed from -1.65 to -1.20 giving me a $8.47 price.
