Butterfield, MN | I'm not exactly sure why you'd need the Viper Pro to do this. It will do it, but seems like overkill. A 2600 or 2630 will be able to do VRA to a 440 with Field Doc I'm pretty sure. Otherwise, I am sure it will work if you have all the right pieces. Along with the Viper Pro and 440, I'm assuming that you have all the cables you'd need for doing the rate control from the 440 and the console cable for the Viper Pro. Along with that, you'd need to get a null modem cable such as the 115-0171-040 from Raven to go between the Com 2 console port on the Viper Pro cable to the 440 com port so they can communicate. The ITC receiver will most likely only output NMEA messages at 5 Hz, but that should be just fine for what you are trying to do with the Viper Pro. | |
