After reading this post - became short topic of discussion over ice cream and cake for Mother's Day. Neighbor commented his dad always said to let posts cure for one year and did not matter if cut in winter or any time of year. After giving it thought, Dad, Brother and I all agreed - probably good idea. We had experienced times where fence lines did not last as long as should have, and now think that may be the reason why - the posts were not cured. | |
