Last fall I mounted a buster bar behind the disk levelers on my DMI 530. It does a great job of leveling and breaking up clods. I used to use 8 in covering boards. One year they caused plugging and got removed. The shanks throw a lot less chucks without them. I have not plut them back on yet.
