Martinsville, Ohio | I really enjoyed your post, Hud and I do remember your mom. She reminded me of Ruth, my mother in law by who she was and how she did things.
Jim's post was a great insight into making biscuits but like Mrs. B said there is so much more to it than that. We watched the Disney movie Ratatoui with two grand daughters last night and that reminded me of your post and how each individual has their own taste to cooking and anyone can cook.
Ruth ran the Buford Restaurant for awhile while I was in college and I would come flying home from Ohio State on Friday and she would feed me for free like nobodies business. She made the best hamburgers and fries or buscuits and gravy.
Thanks for the good post and I hope you find your mom in the taste of your buscuits!
