West Tennessee | Sorry no help to zipper but thought I'd comment on the "hitting your head thing". I did that once on my new to me 4710 and I took a foam "noodle" that the kids used to have in the swimming pool and split it open and wrapped it around that lower boom. Then I covered it with some think heavy plastic tape like you use on a tile joint. It's held up well and although I've not hit my head on it since I know that this will be more forgiving than the metal boom would be. I would think some pipe wrap insulation would work for this too. Just thought I'd throw this out there. | |
