Subject: Re: Obsevation, perception and venting

North west MN
I see allot blame put on a GPS signal only to find out they do not have the implement width and offset set correctly. I myself the first year I used OmniStar HP called them and asked if they had problems with their signal that day and they said no so I did some measuring and found it was my planter swaying 2 inches to the right Making my guess rows 4 inches tight one side and 4 inches wide the other. In that case the accuracy of the GPS helped me cure a planter problem. I now have RTK and have taken all the guess work out of the GPS and can focus on getting the equipment tracking online.
