Ethridge, TN | If I was doing a line extension, we always dug a start slot with the backhoe, and always tried to start the new section 1th above the bottom of what was already there. Would actually cut the existing tile back a little, so the coupler was sitting on the original tile bottom. Some also depends on what size tile you are dealing with, as to whether you can use an internal or had to use an external coupler. If I had a choice, I always used an internal if it was available. | |
