| i didn't read all of trimblguys message so sorry if this is a repeat.
If you have AgLeader's SMS software you can load a setup file onto the PF3000 that will load all your field names. That being said you are limited on the characters you use for naming fields and if your field names are long they wont transfer into the PF correctly.
Even though it takes along time it is best to do as trimbleguy referred to and just plug in with 110 power cord and enter all the field names in sitting at the office desk.
Once you get them entered. If you take the time to go to each field and assign the crop type and or planting type for each field it will create a load for that field. Then upon shutdown it will save that log file to the card. If you keep this log file stored safely on your PC somewhere you can reuse it down the road if you have any issues. The same thing can be done if you use the last file you log for the year.
