Central To Everything and Close to Nothing | If you use SMS to write the RCD folder for the GS2 you can have multi-polygon boundaries show up on the GS2 with no land bridges. The trick is that you need to edit the frozen field boundary so that all of the polygons are merged. To do this, in the tree, click on a field and create a new map of the field border. Then edit the layer and select all of the polygon of the border, then select merge on the right hand side. Save the boundary and then you are good to go. Short of doing this, the GS2 will only recognize one of the polygons in the setup file and you will not get what you want on the screen.
The device setup for SMS for JD equipment is pretty good, I just wish Ag Leader would add the vehicle and implement dimensions to the setup which is a pain to have to re-enter every time we create a new setup file for a card. |
