Don... I don't post much... but after reading post after post of unverifiable, anectodal evidence.. sooner or later you need some facts and reality in the discussion.

The present form of WAAS cannot ever achive high accuracy. There are other free signals under devlopment.... even much further along than that... using Pseudorange and phase observations, based on a worldwide model... not a wide area model such as WAAS, that will revolutionize our industry, and will threaten the very future of subscription based corrections.

I'm involved with one of them...and they will revolutionize the way we do agriculture... world wide... very soon. (And it's not made in the U.S.A.)

For the fact man here. Copy and paste snippet from my post below...

"Perhaps it's the "new free signals" that I'm hearing about. I guess it's not really WAAS but when I heard "free" I was thinking WAAS. That's entirely possible and my apologies for the confusion. So I guess I was hearing things correctly, just assumed that it was WAAS which is the only free thing going on now. According to your information above, a free technology is on it's way and will have the RTK subs squirming. Just like I suggested no?

You can take your condescending BS and (use your imagination). Care to point out a few examples of this "post after post of unverifiable, anectodal evidence" that you believe to be untrue?
