| You can use another GPS source for an EZ-Steer system, but you have to use the EZ-Guide Plus lightbar for the EZ-Steer. All of the calibrations and setup information is included in the Trimble lightbar for the EZ-Steer. I am assuming that this how the 500 is going to be as well when they finally will be able to use any GPS source. I have hooked one up before and all that you have to do is to make sure you GPS unit will output the correct data that is needed by the EZ-Steer and have the right cabling.
