With it being a Deere tracked tractor I'm guessing it had Deere autosteer in it. Is there a green brackcet on the front of the roof to mount a receiver? If that is the case all you need is a display with an autotrack unlock and a receiver. You will just have to mount the receiver on the roof and plug it in, and mount the display in the cab and plug it in and should be good to go.

Deere has released new receivers and displays in the last year. The next older generation (2600 display, ITC receiver) would be more than adequate for what you want to do and could be picked up used for much less than the new stuff.

If you go this route, I would try waas for the signal and if it doesn't work, you could always upgrade to SF2 ($800/yr) with a call to your dealer. RTK for conventional tillage in my opinion is a waste of money and added headache.
