if you are wanting to skip passes you will need to be on a higher accuracy signal such as omnistar or RTK. you could do it on WAAS if you only skipped a couple at a time and came back or if you shift your line to match up with the pass. but you will probably not be happy doing that.
you can use an assisted steering system or integrated. a Trimble 750 is $2,995 on WAAS, add $2000 for Omni. EZ steer and a bracket is $3,770 or a NavII and platform kit would be $6995.
