yield monitor should be your first piece of precision electronics. but if you don't do anything about what the yield monitor is telling you then it isn't going to do anything for you.
steering for tillage will pay you back from the get go. it will save you 8-12% on Time, fuel, and repairs. It will also relieve a lot of stress, allow you to pay more attention to your implement and adjust things you might not have before. It will also allow for you to multi task much easier.
