Southcentral WI | I agree 100%. Shouldn't matter one bit if he was raised on a farm. He's not involved in operating the machinery anymore. All he has to do is manage people who manage people who manage other people on down the line. Oh yeah, he has to manage investor relations, plant profitability scenarios, market and plant expansion scenarios, tax scenarios, and be the public face of the company WORLDWIDE at Deere's public events....is he worth 12 mil? That's not for me to decide, but he sure doesn't have to be a former farmboy to run the joint.
