I will vote for Kenwoods, but like Mike said, not going to get that kind of range with out a repeater. I am looking into a repeater for our radios. When we go narrow band, I think we are going to go for a new license, and I have seen some pretty nice VHF repeaters. I think it might be fun to try one.
